Here is a postwar Lionel #773 Hudson Steam Locomotive & Whistle Tender that was cataloged in 1950, and again from 1964 to 1966. This one dates from 1964 with a revised steam chest and a #736W tender. This locomotive is in like new condition and has no problems or damage.
The die-cast boiler is flawless. The boiler front is original and undamaged. The original paint still looks like new and has virtually no noticeable contact marks.
The cab numbers are clear and bold. The metal parts are rust and corrosion-free. The plated parts have excellent original finish. Runs forward and reverse with a 3-position e-unit. Has an operating smoke unit and an operating headlight.
This locomotive has been tested and was found to be in good working order. The tender is in like new condition and has no problems or damage. The plastic body is flawless. There are no broken steps.The paint still looks like new and has no noticeable contact marks. The lettering is clear and bold. Has AAR (plastic) trucks with an operating coupler. The wiring is in good condition. The whistle is in good working order.
Nothing is broken or missing and there are no reproduction parts. Includes nice original boxes that have no problems or damage. Both show some very light overall wear. The locomotive box (w/insert) has a small amount of writing evident.
